This position, newly created in Europe and located in Ratingen near Duesseldorf, serves as the primary communications and planning link between the organizations demand creation (Sales, and Marketing) and the headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Participate in the organizations Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (“SIOP”) process, analyzing demand trends, proactively informing key decision makers, and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and to capitalize on opportunities. Own the ongoing analysis and creation of the sales (eCommerce and Other Channel Accounts) and demand forecasts by tracking and measuring them to drive continuous improvement. Take responsibility of keeping the warehouse stock at an optimal level.

Essential Functions

● Extrapolate, analyze, and interpret sales data, sales trends, and related customer information to keep the management informed as to sales performance. Analyses and recommendations ultimately support corporate effort to maximize sales, maximize brand growth, and identify opportunities.
● Optimize the inventory of own warehouses and also for 3rd party platforms.
● Assist in preparing and updating the sales forecast as required to support forecast and demand changes, operational constraints and budgets, and incremental business opportunities.
● Coordinate with the headquarters to align the sales and inventory forecast to the master production schedule and tool inventory plan.
● Forecast sales, inventory levels, and opportunities for B2C initiatives on Leathermans websites and 3rd Party Platforms.
● Work with cross-functional departments to create accurate forecasts and inventory strategies that will support successful director-to-consumer campaigns and promotions.
● Monitoring of Phase-In/Phase-Out Planning and ageing of stock.
● Tacking the sales flow of goods sold to 3rd party B2B customers.
