"Glory to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine! Offensive Guard" Postage set.


The postage issue is dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine, who are defending the sacred Ukrainian land, and to those who gave their lives defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. Postage block "Glory to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine! Offensive Guard" continues the "Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!" issue presented by Ukrposhta in 2022 and contains postage stamps depicting soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine. In February 2023 the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine began forming volunteer assault brigades called the "Offensive Guard" as part of the National Guard, the National Police, and the State Border Guard Service, which will, in particular, liberate the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Postal block "Glory to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine! Offensive Guard" continues the issue of "Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!", presented by Ukrposhta in 2022 and containing postage stamps depicting soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine. Soon, postal issues with images of the Ukrainian military will be supplemented with new series of stamps dedicated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and the Security Service of Ukraine.

At the beginning of February 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the formation of volunteer battalions of the "Offensive Guard". These are special units that will stop Russian attempts to break through our borders and will participate in the liberation of Ukraine.

The circulation of the block is 235,000 copies. The denomination of each stamp is F. The stamp issued with a First Day envelope, an unmarked art envelope and three art cards.

The author of the postal issue is Oleksandr Okhapkin, Honored Artist of Ukraine. The release was made with the assistance of the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine.

On 09.05.2023 postage block No. 201 "Glory to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine! Offensive Guard" of three stamps No. 2038 “National Guard of Ukraine”, No. 2039 “State Border Service of Ukraine”, No. 2040 “National Police of Ukraine” and one coupon is issued.
