MFB Dominion X SED - very good condition (Very Rare)

I´m selling this great peace of synthesizer creation because it does no longer match to my current workflow. So i want to leave it in good hands.
The gear is used but in very good condition. The Serial No. is 13195 - OS version is the last possible: 1.16.
The package comes with Original Power Adapter and a printed Manual.

Product information "MFB Dominion X SED"

The Dominion X is MFB's best and best-sounding synthesizer to date. It combines analog sound generation with storability and patch points for integration into CV environments such as modular systems. Three oscillators, a new multi-mode filter and extensive modulations of the individual oscillators, the filter and the VCA, which can be adjusted quickly and easily using rotary controls, make the Dominion a flexible analog synthesizer.

In addition to the multimode filter, the SED version of the Dominion has 3 identical VCOs with extremely stable tuning thanks to processor-controlled temperature control.

The waveforms we find are triangle, sawtooth, pulse and one ring modulator per oscillator. In addition to these waveforms, there is white noise in the mixer. The symmetry of all waveforms can be modulated, i.e. in addition to the usual pulse width modulation, the sawtooth can be faded into a triangle and the triangle into a sine wave. The second and third oscillators can be synchronized to the first. Frequency modulation from VCO3 to VCO 1 and 2 is also possible. All of this makes for an extremely interesting and wide range of sounds.

The SED version uses two completely different filters:
- The first filter is a resonant multimode filter with the following switchable characteristics: 12, 18 and 24dB/octave low pass, 12dB high pass, 12dB bandpass and 6dB notch (band stop)
- The second filter is a discrete low-pass filter with transistors with -12dB/oct or -24dB/oct slope. In terms of sound, it is reminiscent of Roland's excellent filters from the 80s and is lower in noise than the Dominion's multimode filter. If necessary, you can override the filter at the input, whereby it clips a little earlier at -12dB slope than at the slightly cleaner -24dB.

There are a number of controllers available to modulate the cutoff frequency, not only the usual modulation via ADSR, LFO and key tracking, but also via the VCO and an external CV voltage. Through the audio input, which is routed into the mixer, the Dominion can also be used to filter external audio signals.

In addition to the internal modulations, the Dominion can also be modulated via control voltages. There are also CV inputs in the form of mini jacks for the frequencies of the oscillators, gate, oscillator FM, sync, filter cutoff and VCA level. Another input serves as an external audio input that is fed into the mixer.

As for modulation sources, we find two ADSR envelopes and two LFOs with six waveforms (sine, triangle, sawtooth, ramp, square and sample and hold). The assignment of the modulation sources is done easily using rotary switches that are located directly on the modulation targets. In addition, the first ADSR is permanently assigned to the filter and the second to the VCA. The assignment of the touch dynamics is very flexible, as there are a total of 11 selectable modulation targets.

There are 128 memory locations available for storing the sounds. An insert connection allows effects devices to be looped in.
