BMW E36 Z3 318 is ti M42 M44 chain case stiffener

This stiffener reinforces the lower, rear chain case/steering box in the area of the slide rail to prevent the slide rail from breaking out together with the aluminum bases. The forces are absorbed by the stiffener at the highest point and diverted to two other bolting points of the chain case.
The weight-optimized welded steel construction thus ensures maximum rigidity despite the limited installation space in the chain case.

**This kit is for M42 engines from Sept. `93 and all M44 engines.**

- 1X strut, blue galvanized
- 2X cylinder head bolt M6x35, 8.8
- 1X cylinder head screw M6x22, 8.8
- 1X Cylinder head screw M6x25, 8.8
