BMW E30 E36 318 is ti tension bar conversion kit for m42 engines

Dear friends of young- and oldtimers,
due to the discontinuation of the tensioning rail (11311727342) for the m42b18, I offer an alternative in the form of an adapter bolt. With this bolt, the still available M44 tensioning rail (11311743262) can be used without further modifications. (This is not included in the delivery)

Scope of delivery:
1X high-strength adapter bolt, blank, oiled, SW19
1X circlip for shafts

You only need this conversion kit and the m44 clamping rail (11311743262). Then it fits plug and play in your m42!

Note: For the assembly of the circlip an "opening" circlip pliers for shafts with Ø12mm is advantageous.
Picture 2 shows the fully assembled chain drive with this adapter pin, m44 tensioning bar (not included in the purchase price) and a chain case stiffener for the chain idler (not included in the purchase price).
