WG Zimmer in 2er - in Eimsbüttel - roommate wanted!

The Flat:
- 71m2
- 3 Rooms (2 bedrooms and 1 giant living room with infinite sunlight), 1 Full Kitchen, 1.5 Bathrooms, 1 Storage Closet, 1 Balcony. We also have access to a basement with trashcans and an attic with private storage space and clothes drying racks.
- My roommate who is moving out owns most of the furniture so it will be only partially furnished with a full kitchen and the barebones. I will be investing some of my own money into furnishing and decorating and with you together we will make it into a great home :)

The Roommates:
- One 31 year old guy (me) in the master bedroom and you in the other bedroom.

The Room:
- The room is the smaller of two rooms at 11.3m2.
- It faces southwest and therefore has insanely good lighting.
- Since it is quite small, I am open to having some shared space for your storage, no problem. Alternatively, you can use one of those beds with storage space under it.

The Rent:
- 600€ warm including utilities
- We split the deposit down the middle
- I prefer someone who can take the room starting June 1st.

Quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. Right next to the David Meridians gym (I don't go, too expensive).

4 minutes walk to the 181 (Mansteinstraße)
3 minutes walk to the 25/20 (Kottwitzstraße)
15 minutes walk to U3 Hoheluftbrücke
15 minutes walk to U2 Osterstraße

5 minutes walk to Eimsbüttler Park

Every supermarket and restaurant is 5-15 minutes walk away in either the Hoheluftchausee or Osterstraße direction. Eppendorfer Weg is 5 minutes walk and pretty lively.

In short, it's pretty nice.

Hi, my name is James. I am Taiwanese and grew up in Taiwan, Beijing, and San Diego. Now I have been in Germany for 5 months working. English and Chinese are both my native languages, and I am now learning German (A2).

A little bit about me - I am a relaxed and extraverted guy, 31 years old, single, into music, sciences,
geography, and history. I stay fit and have healthy habits but do love a good drink and, on some weekends, a good party. I can be described as part working professional, part nerdy, and part hippie. I am working full-time with 3 days in office and 2 days WFH.

Now that my roommate is moving out, I have taken over the contract from him, and I am looking to fill the smaller of two rooms in the flat.

My only three requirements are:
- you're a cool person
- you can speak decent English so we can communicate properly
- you can take care of yourself and your surroundings
