40-45 Jahre alt. 256 Knoten pro sq. inch.
Leider zu groß für unsere neue Wohnung, ansonsten ein Prachtexemplar und viel zu schade für den Keller.

Der Händler bei dem ich den Teppich kaufte hat es wie folgt beschrieben:

The art of retreating the carpets with modern colours of own choice with different shades is known as Over dyes. It is not very old concept. In fact, the old handmade carpets are collected from different families from Iran which are later are properly cleaned and shaved its pile to the bottom level. The variety of colours are thrown on to get desired colour combination. The carpet under reference is from the Kerman city of Iran and known as Kerman carpet. 100% sheep wool with cotton base has been used in this carpet. This is entirely handmade carpet carrying about 256 knots in one sq. inch. It is about 40-45 years old and has been retreated in Lahore, Punjab.
