Lake property with private lake access!
80 square metre historic boathouse (directly on the outskirts of Berlin) with a view of the garden to the lake with private lake access and jetty. There is also a beautiful summer room / annex available. The boathouse has been lovingly renovated while preserving old building elements and offers wonderful accommodation, especially for couples (with or without children) or close friends, in an open-plan room with a fireplace, terrace and a 20-metre-long covered veranda. With a play corner on request.
The boathouse offers everything that makes life pleasant. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a large shower and a new free-standing bathtub. The view from the bed (160 x 200 cm) or the comfortable leather armchairs in front of the fireplace (wood included) goes directly into the 1,000 square metre garden to the lake. The first coffee in the morning on the terrace is already smiled at by the sun. The boathouse and the garden are south-facing, so the sun shines on the terrace all day long. The veranda offers a shady spot on the west side and sun in the afternoon and evening. If it gets too hot, an electric awning can provide shade.

The shed is designed as a large open space, so children need some supervision. An additional play corner, a comfortable folding bed (90 x 200 cm) or a baby bed can be provided on request. However, there is no separate bedroom apart from the separate summer room/annex.
Children are very welcome. There is a sandpit and plenty of play equipment in the garden for younger children (1 to 6 years), as well as badminton and Viking chess for elder one.

The summer room / annex with a 90 x 200 cm bed (see photo) offers peace and quiet for a midday nap or for snorers ;). From the bed you can see the garden and the lake.

A rowing boat, two bicycles and a cargo bike are available for use free of charge. If you want to bring your own boat, you can use a mooring at the jetty free of charge.

There is a washing machine and freezer for shared use in the barn.
There is also a residential house on the property by the road, which cannot be seen from the boathouse (and vice versa). The garden is shared. Our tenants (2 people) work during the day. The terrace, veranda and the neighbouring meadow around the fireplace are used exclusively by the guests of the boathouse. The garden is large enough for everyone to find a private spot. There is plenty of garden furniture, which can be distributed individually.

Dogs are only allowed on request. There is a tomcat on the property who does not love dogs but tolerates them. Fighting dogs are generally not allowed.

The accommodation has some child safety locks on the cupboards, but is otherwise not particularly childproof (e.g. no sockets or cooker fuses).

The fireplace is the only fixed source of heating, wood for cool evenings is available and included in the rent. There is a fan heater in the bathroom. A mobile radiator can also be used.

The boathouse is a living project in constant development. There are unplastered areas on the walls. This is partly intentional, for example the east wall shows colours and chalks from 130 years and will be preserved. Other areas are still waiting for the right ideas and materials. This in no way detracts from the living comfort;)
