The Account Manager (d/f/m) Bioprocess/Biopharma is responsible for representing the complete portfolio of Cytiva´s solutions, products and services and is acting as the primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the region of North Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover).

This position is part of the Bioprocess Sales organization and will be fully remote and requires a travelling activity of approx. 50%. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do

• Map the structure of customer contacts within selected accounts, forming strong business relationships by regular customer field visits to understand the external customer's business issues and challenges within the field of Biologics. Actively position Cytiva as a trusted partner with respect to the company´s vision

• Take personal ownership to drive and manage the commercial positioning of Cytiva, whilst also supporting the scientific positioning and capabilities of the company and in so doing actively lead find and develop new business opportunities to accelerate growth

• Engage sales specialists in both the design and execution of account business plans and to undertake a key role in driving effective local team work within a complex global matrix sales environment

• To then design with specialist colleagues using sales tools, a business process focused at delivering customer expectations and accelerating Cytiva's growth within the account by meeting identified scientific and commercial needs

• Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications
Who you are

• Successful completed studies in the field of Life Sciences discipline is required. A Ph.D. and a strong background in a cell/molecular/protein biology or bioengineering background is an asset

• Several years of experiences in a commercial role, preferably in the biotechnology industry or related scientific work experience

• Strong influencing, interpersonal, networking, and communication skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels from Process Development scientist to C-Suite
